Hello! I'm Brittany Hamann, a science teacher at Roosevelt High School. I teach biology, astronomy and meteorology. I am an RHS alum and am happy to be teaching in the same classrooms I once sat in as a student. I graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with an undergraduate degree in Life Science Education (Go Dragons!) and completed an Educational Leadership Master's degree from University of Sioux Falls. But because I love to learn, I have decided to pursue an Ed.D in Leadership from USF as well! I live in Sioux Falls with my husband, Kevin, son (Lucas), daughter (Hannah) and dog (Cooper). Together as a family we love nature and make every attempt to enjoy the outdoors. As a teacher, I invest myself in the learning of my students and am extremely passionate about instilling growth mindsets.
